Kevin has been an attorney for over twenty (20) years. Kevin practices employment and labor law in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and before those states' administrative agencies.
Kevin is known for his strong client relationships and superlative customer service. Besides being an attorney with a J.D. from Fordham Law School in New York City, he also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin (nursing license inactive at present).
Law Practice
Our law practice is focused on labor and employment law, as well as personal-injury law in both Oregon and Washington State. We represent only employees, unions, and injured persons in state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
We represent employees and unions at trial and in arbitrations and negotiations, and before the National Labor Relations Board and Oregon Employment Relations Board. Kevin is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Our practice includes cases involving discrimination, retaliation, civil rights, public employees, wrongful discharge, wage claims, harassment, disability, unemployment benefits, workers' compensation, appellate advocacy, whistle-blowing, non-competition agreements, motor-vehicle claims, breach of contract, and severance agreements for executives and other management employees.

Prior Experience
Kevin has practiced in his own firm for eleven (11) years. Prior to that, he worked for two large and one medium size law firm in Oregon practicing labor and employment law and personal-injury law. Kevin came to Oregon in 1987 to work as the law clerk for The Honorable Wallace P. Carson, Jr. of the Oregon Supreme Court where he clerked for two years.
Education
Kevin received his law degree, with honors, from Fordham University School of Law in 1987.
Kevin also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas. He formerly practiced as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
Articles
Kevin has written for many publications on legal matters over the span of his 19-year career. His most recent project is as an Editor of the Workers' Compensation CLE published by the Oregon State Bar.
Community Activities
Kevin has coached baseball and track for grade-school children in his community. He is active with his kids' local schools.
Personal Interests
Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, as well as running, cycling, reading, and travel.
