Law Practice

Kevin Keaney practices labor and employment law, as well as personal-injury law in both Oregon and Washington state. He represents only employees, unions, and injured persons in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. His cases include cases involving discrimination, retaliation, civil rights, public employees, wrongful discharge, wage claims, harassment, disability, unemployment benefits, workers' compensation, appellate advocacy, whistleblowing, non-competition agreements, motor-vehicle claims, and breach of contract.

Kevin Keaney is licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Prior Experience

Kevin Keaney has practiced in his own firm for seven (7) years. Prior to that, he worked for several law firms in Oregon practicing labor and employment law and personal-injury law. Kevin Keaney came to Oregon in 1987 to work as the law clerk for The Honorable Wallace P. Carson, Jr. of the Oregon Supreme Court.

Education

Kevin Keaney received his law degree, with honors, from Fordham University School of Law in 1987.

Kevin Keaney also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas. He formerly practiced as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Articles

Kevin Keaney has written for many publications on legal matters over the span of his 19-year career. His most recent project is as an Editor of the Workers' Compensation CLE published by the Oregon State Bar.

Community Activities

Kevin Keaney is a baseball and track coach for grade-school children in his community.
